SHEplc supports Sue Ryder's Awards.

If we need inspiration read this example:One 20 year old girl who started out volunteering in the Second World War, where she developed her passion for helping the sick, went on to leave a legacy of carers who provide 4 million hours of care a year for thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer. We can't all give such time to this amazing work but we can still be heros and heroines in our own domains. There are 4 main categories, if you know a wonderful lady who has done some amazing things in the workplace, in the commuity or survived personal tragedy. Please let us know. I have a nomination form which I can email you or contact Kelly Gibson at Sue Ryder. ALSO: ITS TIME TO GET ON YOUR BIKE - Why not register to take part in our Ride for Ryder Bike Ride on 26 September 2010, Mapledurham, Reading. You can choose from a 10, 30 or 60 mile route, so it can be family fun or a real challenge for you biking enthusiasts!
